Job summary

Ladgov coorporation is seeking a qualified Small Engine Repair Instructor to provide hands-on vocational training in a correctional education setting. The instructor will teach students the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of lawn mowers, weed eaters, fans, and other small-engine equipment using an approved curriculum.

The instructor will develop lesson plans, deliver state-approved curriculum, and ensure safety while guiding students through practical repair techniques in a secure environment.

Qualifications

• State/industry certification or license in small engine repair.
• Demonstrated knowledge of small engine repair and instructional ability.
• Ability to complete facility pre-service training.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom and hands-on small engine repair instruction for up to 15 students.
• Develop lesson plans and deliver state-approved vocational curriculum.
• Teach workplace safety, tool use, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair techniques.
• Maintain student training records and weekly project status reports.
• Safeguard tools, equipment, and Government property.
