Job summary

Coastal Companies, LLC seeks a hands-on Small Engine Mechanic & Fleet Maintenance Technician to service mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and landscape equipment. This full-time role blends mechanical repair with light groundskeeping duties, supporting a dependable crew that keeps our properties running.

You will diagnose and repair small engines, perform basic maintenance on company trucks and trailers, and maintain service records. A valid driver's license is required; CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with small engine repair.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of trucks and trailers.
• Familiarity with landscaping tools and operations.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• CDL or equipment operator experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair small engines (mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, etc.).
• Perform basic maintenance on company trucks and trailers (oil changes, brakes, lights, tires).
• Keep equipment safe, reliable, and field-ready.
• Maintain service records and track repairs.
• Operate lawn and landscape equipment for seasonal or daily support.
• Assist with mowing, trimming, cleanups, and general groundskeeping.
• Support team during busy seasons with property maintenance.

We're looking for a hands-on, motivated Small Engine Mechanic & Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our growing team.

What You'll Do:

Fleet & Equipment Maintenance:

• Diagnose and repair small engines (mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, etc.)
• Perform basic maintenance on company trucks and trailers (oil changes, brakes, lights, tires, etc.)
• Keep equipment safe, reliable, and field-ready
• Maintain service records and track repairs

Landscaping Support (as needed):

• Operate lawn and landscape equipment for seasonal or daily support
• Assist with mowing, trimming, cleanups, and general groundskeeping
• Support team during busy seasons with property maintenance
