Job summary

North 40 Outfitters is seeking a full-time Small Engine Mechanic in Great Falls. You will troubleshoot and repair small engines for a range of equipment, interacting with customers to diagnose issues and suggest repairs.

The role requires flexibility to work some weekends/holidays within Mon–Fri 8am–5pm business hours and a strong focus on service excellence. Qualified candidates will have mechanical experience and may hold Honda, STIHL, or Husqvarna certifications, with the ability to lift

Job Description

North 40 Outfitters is looking to hire aFull-Time Small Engine Mechanicto join our Great Falls Service Shop.We believe that each team member plays a vital role in the success of our company, and we are looking for authentic and enthusiastic people who love our lifestyle and believe in service before self. As a Small Engine Mechanicat North 40, your main priority will be to troubleshoot and repair small engines on a variety of equipment. You will regularly work with customers to diagnose equipment, provide solutions, and review completed work.

This full-time position requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts between the business hours of Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm. This shift can include working weekends and certain holidays and will require flexibility in scheduling based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Heavy electrical knowledge for generator repairs and light electrical and body knowledge for trailer repairs
• Understanding of correct lifting and loading techniques. Physical ability to lift and carry 0-25lbs. continuously, 25-45lbs. frequently, and 45-65 lbs. occasionally, andteam lift anything over 65 lbs. Spending 100% of work time on your feet, including use of ladders, rolling staircases and pallet jacks.
