Job summary

Craig Taylor Equipment in Anchorage is seeking an Equipment Service Technician- Small Engine (EQA) to analyze root causes of equipment failures and perform repairs. You will inspect, diagnose, and replace faulty parts, maintain records, and use diagnostic tools in a safety-conscious shop environment.

The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift 40+ pounds, and a willingness to work 40+ hours per week with strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to ensure proper functioning.
• Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with equipment through testing and analysis.
• Maintain detailed records of equipment maintenance activities, including repairs performed, parts used, and service schedules.
• Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems in equipment, following manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines.
• Competent and thorough use of internal computer systems, including electronic diagnostic tools, parts management and work order management software.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
