We are searching for a Small Engine Technician / Mechanic with experience in servicing and repairing 4-cycle engines, generators, pressure washers, lawn mowers, weed eaters, 2-cycle engines, and more. The Mechanic promotes customer satisfaction by completing jobs on schedule or providing timely updates on issues such as unavailable replacement parts and warranty concerns. The Technician / Mechanic is also responsible for sourcing and ordering parts for stock and repairs.

Requirements:

1. At least one year of experience repairing and maintaining small engines, large lawn equipment, generators, commercial pressure washing units, mowers, tillers, and related equipment with a successful track record.
2. Ability to clearly explain and communicate diagnosis and repairs to customers professionally to ensure a positive experience.
3. Demonstrated accuracy, thoroughness, and the ability to provide quality solutions to customers.
4. Knowledge of safety and security procedures, reporting unsafe conditions, and proper use of equipment and materials.
5. Respectful attitude and contribution to a positive team environment.
6. Ability to understand and follow instructions and respond promptly to directions.
7. Commitment to integrity and upholding company values while operating a profitable service business.
8. Certifications in major brands like Honda, Kohler, Briggs & Stratton, Generac, MTD, Stihl, TORO, Ego, Echo, etc. Master certification is a plus.
9. Extensive experience with electrical systems, pressure washer pumps and unloader systems, hydraulic theory, and diagnostic equipment and procedures.
10. Knowledge of small engine theory (2 and 4 stroke): lubrication, cooling, ignition, and fuel systems.
