Job summary

Ontivity is seeking a DAS/Small Cell Foreman to lead installation projects and manage field crews. You will supervise, coordinate activities, ensure safety, and keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Applicants should have strong DAS/Small Cell knowledge, blueprint reading skills, and the ability to read technical documents. The role is on-site with travel and requires relevant certifications and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a DAS/Small Cell Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the telecommunications industry.
• In-depth knowledge of DAS/Small Cell systems, installation techniques, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Relevant certifications.
• Strong knowledge in Sweep, PIM, and OTDR testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead, Supervise and coordinate DAS/Small Cell installation projects with team members, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Oversee the daily activities of the installation crew, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
• Conduct site assessments, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to ensure successful project completion.
• Communicate effectively with crew members, project managers, and clients to provide updates and address concerns.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports and any change to the SOW.

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a DAS/Small Cell Foreman.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

• Value safety over and above all other considerations
• Perform all work safely and efficiently/always utilize correct PPE
• Basic knot tying and safe rigging principles required to load material on trailers

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

The physical demands and work environment described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Work on work sites
• Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver's license
• Able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background, drug testing and MVR
