Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in Texas.

• Strong knowledge of federal bankruptcy practice and Texas procedures.
• Excellent research, writing, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters, deadlines, and client priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Advise small business clients on bankruptcy, debt relief, insolvency, and restructuring options
• Prepare, review, and file legal documents related to bankruptcy proceedings

• Analyze financial records, liabilities, and assets to recommend practical legal strategies

Overview

In this role, you will advise business owners on a range of bankruptcy-related matters, including case strategy, creditor negotiations, restructuring options, and court filings. Preferred Skills

• Experience preparing petitions, schedules, motions, and related filings
• Comfort interpreting financial statements and business records
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and approachable manner
• Strong advocacy skills in both negotiation and litigation settings
• Spanish fluency
