Oldtown Veterinary Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC is actively seeking a Veterinarian to join our team. The Veterinarian delivers high-quality medical, surgical, dental and nutritional care to companion animals and educates clients on preventive health.

This established practice offers a supportive environment to enhance diagnostic and surgical skills. Open to new grads with a strong mentorship program, the role offers a base salary of $100,000 to $120,000 with compensation based on qualifications

Qualifications

• DVM degree from an accredited university.
• State licensure in good standing.
• Ability to make decisions and communicate clearly with the team.
• Commitment to the highest standard of veterinary medicine and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Develop rapport with clients; perform exams and procedures to deliver high-quality care.
• Explain findings; present treatment plans; educate on vaccines and nutrition.
• Maintain medical records; log updates; support follow-up care.
• Stay current with medical advances; complete at least 20 hours CE yearly.
• Help develop paraprofessional team to ensure top care and service.
• Represent the hospital positively in professional circles.
