Setauket Animal Hospital is a progressive and well-established veterinary clinic serving the Setauket area. We offer a wide range of services, including preventative care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and emergency care. We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Veterinarian (DVM) and/or Medical Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a passion for providing exceptional care, and the ability to develop positive relationships with both clients and staff. As a DVM at Setauket Animal Hospital, you will provide comprehensive veterinary care for a variety of animal species, participate in client education, and help lead our team in delivering the best care possible.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
  • A current license to practice veterinary medicine in New York State.
  • Experience in a clinical or hospital setting
  • Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in surgical procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • A commitment to providing compassionate care and fostering long-term relationships with clients and their pets.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and time management skills.

Pay Range

$100,000—$140,000 USD
