Job description

Job Description : Our client is seeking a dynamic Medical Director to lead the veterinary operations at their clinic, embodying a commitment to excellence and fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for their team.

As the Medical Director, you will ensure the delivery of superior veterinary care that prioritizes patient safety, effectiveness, and client satisfaction. You will mentor and develop Associate Veterinarians through coaching, feedback sessions, and collaborative case discussions, nurturing their professional growth and ensuring a high-performing team.

Reporting to the Regional Director of Operations and working closely with the Clinic Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing new practice protocols and guidelines, driving continuous improvement in care standards and client experience. You will oversee talent acquisition efforts, ensuring the recruitment of top-tier veterinary professionals who align with our client's standards of excellence.

Qualifications for this role include a Veterinary Medical Degree (DVM / VMD or foreign equivalent), state licensure in good standing (or eligibility), and preferably 3-5+ years of clinical veterinary experience with at least 1 year in a leadership capacity.

This clinic is a short drive from Chicago.
