Job summary

Greater Cincinnati Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Services (GCVS) is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Small Animal Veterinary Dermatologist to join our collaborative, multi-disciplinary team in Wilder, Kentucky. The role offers access to advanced diagnostics, strong support staff, and opportunities for ownership through Partner Track.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Board certification or residency training in Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD or ECVD).
• Active veterinary license in the United States or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of dermatologic conditions in small animals, including allergic, autoimmune, infectious, and parasitic diseases.
• Perform dermatologic procedures such as skin scrapings, cytologies, biopsies, and allergy testing (intradermal or serum-based).
• Conduct video otoscopy and deep ear flushes as needed.
• Provide dermatologic consultations for in-house referrals and external clients.
• Collaborate with referring veterinarians and in-house specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
• Educate clients on treatment plans, medication use, and long-term management strategies.
