Job summary

Greater Cincinnati Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Services (GCVS) in Wilder, Kentucky, seeks a board-certified or residency-trained Small Animal Veterinary Dermatologist to join our multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Board certification or residency training in Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD or ECVD).
• Active veterinary license in [Insert State] or ability to obtain one.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of dermatologic conditions in small animals.
• Perform dermatologic procedures such as skin scrapings, cytologies, biopsies, and allergy testing.
• Conduct video otoscopy and deep ear flushes as needed.
• Provide dermatologic consultations for in-house referrals and external clients.
• Collaborate with referring veterinarians and in-house specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
• Educate clients on treatment plans, medication use, and long-term management strategies.
