Job summary

Vestmark Advisory Solutions (VAS) is expanding its advisory and asset management services and has an opening for a role focused on SMA/UMA order generation and trade execution. The VAS Trader implements trades to Manager Models and supports SMA, MSP, and Model Only/UMA sponsors and managers.

The role handles trade order management, pre- and post-trade servicing, and ensures trades are submitted and executed accurately. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 1–3+ years of experience in the SMA/UMA or wealth management industry.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail, and able to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify opportunities for improvements in trading process and efficiency.
• Process client model change requests by generating ATB block trade orders within client sponsor and perform controls to mitigate risk.
• Process maintenance requests (new accounts, cash flows, terminations, tax harvests) by rebalancing accounts and routing trade orders for execution.
• Communicate client model changes to Model Only/UMA sponsors per ATB trade order rotation within SLAs and controls to mitigate risk.
• Perform Trading Services to assist connectivity between Vestmark and Sponsors.
• Manage all aspects of trade operations including trade order management, execution review and reconciliation across Vestmark and enterprise clients’ platforms.
