Job summary

PIMCO is seeking a Project Manager for the SMA Program Management team in Austin. You will coordinate the team's project portfolio, translate priorities into actionable plans, and ensure initiatives progress from planning through completion.

You will guide Business Analysts, manage Jira-based intake, lead daily standups, and maintain PMO processes, enabling the broader team to focus on strategic initiatives and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• 5–6 years of PM/related experience (PM, program mgmt, business analysis).
• Financial services industry experience required.
• Experience coordinating Agile/Scrum teams, including standups and backlog mgmt.
• Proficient with Jira, Confluence, Copilot and Lucidchart.

Responsibilities

• Own project intake, prioritization, and tracking across multiple initiatives with Jira.
• Lead daily standups and coordinate project activities to keep deliverables on track.
• Drive accountability across Business Analysts and technology partners to meet timelines.
• Provide day-to-day oversight and guidance to Business Analysts beyond current projects.
• Develop and maintain project plans, status reports, and PMO processes.
• Create workflow documentation, process maps, and operational procedures.
• Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and align priorities.
