Job summary

PTMA Financial Solutions seeks an Investment Accountant II for Separately Managed Accounts. The role ensures accurate accounting data within Clearwater, coordinating trade settlement, cash processing, pricing, and month-end close to support Portfolio Manager decisions.

You will collaborate with Settlements, Portfolio Managers, Sales, and Risk to maintain reconciled data across Clearwater and Bloomberg, enabling reliable SMA reporting for clients.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Clearwater or similar investment/fund accounting platform.
• Ability to learn Bloomberg navigation commands and review position data.
• Solid understanding of fixed income and equity trade settlement processes.
• Strong attention to detail across journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own Tri-Party Reconciliation across custody, Bloomberg, and Clearwater records.
• Reconcile data between Bloomberg and Clearwater and correct discrepancies.
• Ensure proper coding of reporting files and cash batch allocations.
• Coordinate month-end close, pricing, and performance reporting across systems.
• Assist onboarding/offboarding and ensure feeds connect correctly with custody and Bloomberg.
