Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Slurry Technician to ensure cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas on a 24/7 production schedule. The role involves performing all process and cleaning operations of waste equipment and supporting maintenance during equipment issues.

Experience with machinery is a plus; no specific education required. A valid driver’s license and forklift certification may be required, and English literacy is essential for reading and reporting tasks.

Qualifications

• No formal education requirement; 3–6 months training or experience preferred.
• May require valid driver’s license and forklift certification.
• Must be able to read and write in English; flu vaccine may be requested as part of safety program.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas.
• Perform daily mechanical checks on waste equipment.
• Assist maintenance team with equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
• Acquire egg waste samples for kinetics sampling and dryness testing.
• Perform light maintenance during off-season and patch/paint as needed.
• Assist with HVAC filter removal and disposal of waste.

Job Description

Job Overview The Slurry Technician is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas.

Roles & Responsibilities

• To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Responsible for all process and cleaning operations of the waste equipment during a 24/7 daily production schedule.
• Maintain cleanliness of area
• Perform daily mechanical checks on all waste equipment and permit required activities
• Assist building maintenance team technicians during equipment troubleshooting / failures to fix/repair equipment
• Responsible for acquiring egg waste samples for kinetics sampling and dryness testing
• During offseason when waste is not running employees to perform light maintenance duties
• Patch and paint
• Assist with HVAC filter removal
• Disposal of mechanical area trash
• Perform floor cleaning both GMP and non GMP as needed

Monday-Friday: Tuesday- Saturday: Wednesday-Sunday: 7:00am-3:00pm 3:00pm-11:30pm 11:00pm-7:00am $17.50-$18.50 per hour
