Job summary

Arizona Autism United (AZA United) is hiring an SLPA to support speech services under a licensed SLP. The role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team across programs and ages, delivering direct and group therapy, and engaging families with evidence-based strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences or related field with required coursework.
• Completion of certified SLPA training program.
• SLPA license from the Arizona Department of Health Services.
• 1+ year of speech therapy experience required.
• Proficiency with computers and email.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct treatment under the supervising SLP per written plans.
• Implement therapy goals in individual and group settings.
• Data collection and record-keeping for services delivered.
• Participate in training and shadowing with supervisors, parents and staff.
• Offer strategies to families for speech and language goals.
• Communicate regularly with supervisors, therapy team and families.
• Submit paperwork accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with families to support family-centered services.
