Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for local or travel contract assignments across healthcare settings including acute care, inpatient rehab, outpatient, and skilled nursing. Opportunities include 13-week blocks with potential extensions, and experience with Epic EMR is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Speech-Language Pathologist license in the applicable state.
• CCC-SLP certification through ASHA.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
• Minimum of one year of recent clinical experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Perform bedside swallow evaluations and recommend dietary modifications when indicated.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and home exercises.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and discharge summaries using Epic EMR.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and professional guidelines.
• Participate in care conferences and rounds; maintain productivity with high-quality care.
