Job summary

Encompass Health seeks a Speech Therapy Team Leader to guide clinical care and operations within our inpatient rehabilitation network. Lead scheduling, orientation, training, and collaboration with hospital departments while delivering direct patient care and building strong therapeutic relationships.

Qualified candidates hold current state licensure or certification, CCC from ASHA, CPR certification, and at least three years in speech therapy or leadership, with two years of clinical practice.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC Certification (ASHA) required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of three years of experience in speech therapy or leadership, with at least two years of clinical experience.
• Advanced certifications or Therapy Clinical Ladder preferred when eligible.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Therapy Operations with daily therapy team operations including scheduling, orientation, and training.
• Provide direct patient care and build rewarding relationships to support recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories and contribute to positive patient outcomes.
