Job summary

VitalCaring Group is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to deliver high-quality therapy and health education focused on patient and family support. You will evaluate, plan, and implement speech-language interventions to improve communication and quality of life.

The role requires a Master’s/ Doctoral degree in SLP, state licensure, and at least 1 year of clinical experience, with strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills essential to success.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in speech-language pathology (SLP).
• Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Licensed as an SLP by the state or meeting requirements if licensure is not required in the state.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assess home environments to identify speech/language function needs.
• Develop and implement plans of care to address functional speech defects.
• Administer specialized therapeutic techniques and recommend communication aids as needed.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on treatment regimes and collaborate with other healthcare personnel.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and participate in discharge planning using the EMR system.
• Attend in-services, case conferences, and meetings to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain clinical competency in speech-language pathology practices.
• May supervise home health aides related to the therapy plan of care.

• Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
