Job summary

Banner Churchill Community Hospital in Fallon, Nevada, is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide screening, evaluation, and rehabilitation for patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency disorders. The role supports acute and outpatient geriatric swallow programs and operates 8am-4pm, Monday–Friday.

Full-time, part-time, and per diem schedules are available. Requires MBSS/modified barium swallow experience, strong collaboration with physicians, and

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure in practice.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or acceptance in Clinical Fellowship Year.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and develops a plan of care for speech-language disorders.
• Implements individualized treatment plans addressing multiple needs.
• Educates patients and families to promote participation in therapy.
• Documents treatment according to standards and regulations.
• Provides training to staff and students.
