Job summary

Birchwood Terrace Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. You will assess and provide rehabilitation services to patients, focusing on improving communication skills and overall well-being.

The ideal candidate holds a Doctorate in Speech Therapy, a Vermont license, and has experience in long-term or geriatric care. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $40-$52, a $7,500 sign-on bonus, weekly pay, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Speech Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid professional license and registration to practice in the state of Vermont.
• Experience in long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and provide rehabilitation services to patients with various medical conditions, focusing on improving their communication skills and overall well-being
• Develop and administer personalized treatment plans, setting realistic and achievable goals for each patient
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on therapy methods and techniques
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation
