Legacy Healthcare Services in Augusta, GA, seeks a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a PRN opportunity. The role focuses on evaluating and treating swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments, with goal-setting and development of evidence-based therapy programs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or ability to obtain before start.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based techniques.
• Establish treatment goals and develop/implement SLP treatment programs based on evaluations.
• Provide rehabilitative services under medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients.
• Treat residents one-on-one with individualized, functional-based treatment sessions.
