Job summary

Ro Health is hiring a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school setting serving students in the Greater San Mateo area. The role is in-person with a schedule from Monday to Friday, starting ASAP, offering $90/hour+ for qualified SLPs.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, delivering therapy for articulation, language, and swallowing disorders, and counseling families. CA licensure and CPR/BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Relevant SLP experience required.
• CA SLP license in good standing required.
• CPR/BLS certification and compliance with state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Use standardized tests, observations, and interviews to inform diagnosis.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide therapy for articulation, fluency, language delays, and disorders.
• Counsel individuals and families on communication, and use assistive technologies as needed.
• Train and integrate patients in assistive technologies to aid daily living.
• Screen for risks and implement preventive measures.

Overview:

• Setting: in-person, school
• Schedule: M - F
• $90/hour+ for qualified SLPs
• Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.
• Use standardized tests, observations, and interviews to gather information for diagnosis.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, setting specific and measurable goals tailored to the needs of each client.
• Provide therapy to individuals with speech and language disorders, including articulation disorders, fluency disorders, language delays, and language disorders.
• Provide counseling and support to individuals and their families, addressing emotional and social aspects of communication disorders
• Integrate and train individuals in the use of assistive technologies that can enhance communication and daily living
• Conduct screenings to identify individuals at risk for speech and language disorders and implement preventive measures

Qualifications:

• Relevant SLP experience
• Current CA state SLP license in good standing
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• State and contract-specific compliance requirements
