Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center (CMMC) in Lewiston seeks a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join Lifepoint Rehabilitation. PRN, nonexempt, with daytime hours and at least one Saturday per month, plus holiday coverage and flexible weekday needs.

The SLP will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support rehabilitation goals and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Licensed or license-eligible in the state of practice as an SLP.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field acceptable to ASHA.
• CCC from ASHA or eligible to obtain it.
• Minimum of six months experience with adult/geriatric populations.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and provide care per physician orders and plan of care.
• Evaluate intervention effectiveness and adjust treatment to achieve goals.
• Plan for patient discharge and communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Participate in performance improvement, program development, and budgeting input.
