Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in Ogden, Utah is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (PRN) to provide functional rehabilitation across home, school, work, and community settings. You will evaluate, treat, and progress patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in real-life contexts.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice.
• Current CPR Certification in accordance with state regulations.
• Minimum of one year's work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations, make recommendations for home and community safety, and provide education resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and family members.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordinated care and improved outcomes.
