Job summary

Synchrony Rehab in Kentucky is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive speech, language and swallowing assessments and therapy in an interdisciplinary setting.

You will develop individualized treatment plans, document progress, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a care team. Education: Master's degree; Experience: 0–1 years; Licensure required with CCC-SLP preferred; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the US is required or CCC-SLP preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Develops and implements individualized therapy plans with measurable goals.
• Provides therapy to improve communication and swallowing abilities.
• Educates patients and families about disorders and therapy techniques.
• Maintains documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and plans.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
