Job summary

The Cambridge Public Schools Office of Student Services in Cambridge, MA, seeks an Extended Term Substitute Speech/Language Pathologist for King Open School. The role will support students with speech-language disorders, develop IEP goals, and coordinate with families and school teams.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in SLP, MA licensure, and ASHA credentials; experience in urban schools and knowledge of AAC/PECs are highly valued.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required or preferred.
Massachusetts Certification or License preferred.
ASHA Certification preferred.
Experience in urban school systems with students who have disabilities.

Responsibilities

Adhere to rules, regulations, and ethical standards when conducting screenings and evaluations.
Administer formal and informal assessments and interpret data to guide services.
Prepare and present evaluation reports to parents and teams clearly.
Plan direct services using various delivery models to meet student needs.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers.
Develop and monitor IEPs/504 plans and document progress timely.
Attend team meetings and parent conferences to support student learning.
