Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to provide functional, community-based therapy across the Central Coast of California. You will design and implement treatment plans that extend into real-life environments, collaborating with a dynamic team to support brain and spinal cord injury recovery.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice.
• Current CPR Certification in accordance with state regulations.
• Minimum of one year's work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to neurological injury preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans and attend staff meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations and resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to optimize patient outcomes.
