Job summary

Skyline Healthcare Center-San Jose is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in San Jose, CA. This role offers a salary range of $104,000 to $135,200 and is available in full-time or part-time arrangements with a sign-on bonus.

The SLP will screen and evaluate residents, develop care plans, administer and interpret hearing and speech tests, and support residents with swallow techniques while maintaining patient confidentiality and compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
• One year of clinical experience is preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Competency is required.
• Current California license to practice Speech-Language Pathology is required.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment according to the established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents on functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents per company policy and regulations.
