The incumbent teaches within the area of expertise, contributes to scholarly activity in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and supports department and university service expectations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and seven years of clinical service, clinical education and/or clinical coordination experience.
• Certification as a speech-language pathologist by ASHA. Licensed or eligible for licensure in Delaware.
• Strong communication, organization, interpersonal, problem-solving, and counseling skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and evaluate second-year clinical education activities for the MA-SLP program.
• Serve as liaison between the university and affiliated clinical sites.
• Monitor student progress and provide guidance and support as needed.
• Assign students to clinical sites based on learning needs and site opportunities.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to promote staff development and program outcomes.
