Baptist Memorial Health Care in Meridian, MS seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to evaluate patients, establish functional goals, and provide therapy according to a written plan of care to restore function.

You will document progress, plan discharge, and communicate findings to patients and caregivers while adhering to the ASHA Code of Ethics. BLS certification within 14 days of hire is required.

• SLP-CCC; BLS Certification within 14 days of hire; SLP

Responsabilités

• Evaluates and assesses the patient based on subjective and objective information.
• Communicates results of the evaluation to patient and other caregivers.
• Provides treatment according to established goals on plan of care.
• Documents interventions/care in the patient's medical record.
• Evaluates effectiveness of plan of care and reassesses patient's functional status as needed.
• Provides discharge planning information which includes patient/family education, follow-up, and referral to community resources.
• Contributes to the development of staff and students.
• Participates in activities designed to improve health care delivery.
• Completes assigned goals.
