Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant/Communicative Disorders or related field.
• 1 year of verifiable professional SLPA experience within last 3 years (residency or practicum allowed).
• Valid California License as an SLPA.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide therapeutic interventions.
• Assist in implementing treatment plans for clients with speech and language disorders.
• Conduct screenings as directed by the supervising SLP.
• Document client progress and report to supervising SLP.
• Provide direct therapy services as directed by the supervising SLP.
• Prepare therapy materials and maintain equipment.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development.
• Adhere to state regulations and ASHA guidelines.
