Central Rivers Area Education Agency CRAEA - Northwest Sector in Clear Lake, Iowa seeks an SLP-A II to support speech-language services under supervision and collaborate with educational staff. Immediate start for a full‑time school year schedule, eight hours a day, 180 days.

The role requires a BA in related fields or Communication Sciences, strong computer and communication skills, and ability to work with children in a team setting. Salary $25.25/hour with classified benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Education preferred; consider related field.
• Must be dedicated to children and able to work with them.
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, email, Google, etc.).
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities.
• Able to receive and process instructions and feedback from supervisors.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Education preferred; consideration given to a person with a Bachelor of Arts in a related field.
• Must be dedicated to children and demonstrate ability to work with them.
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, email, Google, etc.).
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to receive and process instructions and feedback from supervisors.
• Ability to team with a variety of educational professionals.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

• Full‑time during the school year for 8 hrs/day / 180 days
