Job description

Do you love movies and TV shows? Like to work with data? Are you up to date on the latest social media platforms? Then keep reading!

Welocalize is seeking Metadata Specialists with native or business level Slovenian and English. You will work remotely as a vendor for a leading consumer technology company, contributing to the finished products released in target markets across the globe.

You will evaluate the quality of both written and spoken text related to your area of linguistic and geographic expertise. Additionally, you may work on content review and creation for Music and TV applications. You will collaborate with international teams to monitor and improve the quality of client products and partner data integrations.

Job Responsibilities:

1. QA various products by accurately following testing instructions and test cases
2. Adhere to project-specific quality standards, trademarks, style guides, and client-preferred checklists and glossaries
3. Complete assigned tasks in a quality and timely manner
4. Stay motivated and deliver results while working on repetitive tasks
5. Understand and prioritize tasks and issues quickly and efficiently
6. Drive to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing requirements
7. Be highly organized with attention to detail and a commitment to quality
8. Navigate ambiguity and make informed judgment calls with available information

Location: Remote work, must be based in Ireland or the UK

Project Duration: 12 months (potential for further extension)

Pay Rate: €35,000/year for Ireland and £31,850/year for the UK

Working Hours/Schedule (determined by client needs):

• Tuesday - Saturday, 08:30-17:00 (40 hours)
• Sunday - Thursday, 08:30-17:00 (40 hours)

Desired Start Date: As soon as possible

Qualifications and Skills:

• Native level fluency in Slovenian
• Business English level
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to stay motivated and focused through hours of repetitive tasks
• Highly detail-oriented with ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
• Sharp problem-solving and analytical skills, along with the ability to learn from history and prevent errors from recurring
• Experience with advanced spreadsheet tools
• Extensive and current knowledge of local movies, TV shows, music, literature, social media platforms, cultural sensitivities, and nuances
• Experience with Apple products and MS Office is a plus
• Degree not required but preferred in Art, Design, Media, Production, Literature, Film, etc.

4. Movies and TV Shows Metadata Test (1.5 hours)
5. Interview with Vendor Project Managers
6. Offer
