Job summary

ROBINSON RANCHERIA RESORT & CASINO is seeking a dedicated Slot Machine Technician to maintain and repair electronic and mechanical components of casino gaming devices. The role requires vigilance in safeguarding monies and timely communication of unusual machine activity to supervisors.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of technician experience, basic circuitry knowledge, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• 1-3 years technician experience.
• Basic understanding of electronic circuitry as it pertains to electronic gaming equipment (slot machines and video games).
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to speak, read and write the English language.
• Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and any shift.
• Must pass background check and receive a gaming license from the Robinson Rancheria Gaming Commission as required to work in gaming operations.
• Must pass an annual Title 31 exam.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Perform shop and on floor repairs of slot machines.
• Repair and rebuild all mechanical and electronic slot game components.
• Communicate all unusual situations concerning machines to either their supervisor, manager or casino shift manager in a timely manner.
• Maintain and keep accurate paper records of all repairs to machines.
• Assists customers as needed by answering inquiries.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
