Qualifications

  • One to two years of Electrical/Electronic training and/or work experience is preferred.
  • Some training in electrical/electronics and dexterity required.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and team lift 400 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical devices on gaming machines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical malfunctions.
  • Provide high-level guest service and promote a positive atmosphere.
  • Responds to calls for assistance; troubleshoots and resolves malfunctions.
  • Performs preventative maintenance on slot machines as directed.
  • Assists in resolution of guest disputes regarding malfunctioning equipment.
  • Cleans slot machines and surrounding area.
  • Diagnoses, repairs, and programs progressive signs and electronic components.
  • Assists in relocation or installation of equipment.
  • Tests and debugs equipment with an Illinois Gaming Board representative.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
  • Maintains and repairs electrical and mechanical devices on electronic gaming machines, kiosk machines, and signage.
  • Exercises good judgment to determine whether to repair or replace malfunctioning parts of a slot machine, following standard procedures.
  • This position is responsible for providing a high level of guest service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests and team members.
  • Responds to calls for assistance; troubleshoots and resolves electrical and mechanical malfunctions.
  • Performs preventative maintenance on slot machines as directed.
  • Assists Slot supervision in the resolution of guest disputes regarding malfunctioning equipment.
  • Cleans slot machines and area as directed.
  • Diagnoses, repairs, and programs progressive signs.
  • Diagnoses and repairs electronic components or wiring problems.
  • Assists in the relocation or installation of equipment.
  • Tests and debugs equipment functioning following maintenance work in the company of an Illinois Gaming Board representative.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • One to two years of Electrical/Electronic training and/or work experience is preferred.
  • Some training in electrical/electronics, and an ability to work with hands.
  • Must understand and speak the English language.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds, and team lift 400 pounds.
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is constantly required to stand and walk. The employee is constantly required to sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. Must be able to team push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 400 lbs. The employee must be able to lift and/or move 50 lbs to a height of four (4) feet, and occasionally team lift in excess of 400 lbs. The employee is constantly required to travel up and down stairs. The employee requires manual dexterity to operate all necessary equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.
