Job summary

Spokane Tribe Resort in Airway Heights, WA is seeking a Slot Technician to oversee repair and maintenance of all electrical and mechanical player terminals.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, ability to multitask in a fast-paced casino environment, and adherence to internal controls. You will move and install gaming devices, keep thorough records, and coordinate with Slot Tech Supervisor to address issues.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in Slot Operations or related electrical/IT experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Strong guest service and problem-solving skills.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must tolerate areas with varying noise, smoke, and temperature levels

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of all electrical and mechanical slot terminals to ensure optimal operation.
• Assist in moving and installing gaming devices as needed.
• Breakdown, relocation, and re setup of machines and stands.
• Maintain accurate and thorough departmental records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and department policies.

What You'll Do

Slot Technicians are responsible for the overall repair and maintenance of all electrical and mechanical player terminals.

What You'll Bring

• Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision and Values of Casino.
• Responsible for the repair, overhaul, and proper preventative maintenance of all player terminals to ensure optimal operation.
• The slot tech must be proactive and identify problems & solutions follow up with the Slot Tech Supervisor.
• Will assist in moving and installing gaming devices as needed.
• Responsible for the breakdown, relocation, and re set-up of machines and stands to be relocated.
• Held accountable, to a high degree, for maintaining accurate and thorough departmental records and reports.
• Must learn and ensure policies and procedures are being followed per the departments’ Internal Controls.
• Perform other tasks assigned.

Regulatory & Compliance Responsibilities

• Six (6) months experience working in Slot Operations or as a Slot Technician, or other related electrical or IT experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Strong guest service and problem-solving skills.
• Able to Multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise, smoke, and temperature levels

Gaming License Required? Ability to secure and maintain STATE OR TRIBAL Gaming License.
