Job summary

Spokane Tribe Resort & Casino is seeking a Slot Technician to handle the repair and maintenance of electrical and mechanical player terminals. The role requires six months in slot operations or related electrical/IT experience and a high school diploma.

The technician will perform preventative maintenance, assist with installing gaming devices, and maintain records while complying with internal controls. A gaming license is required or must be obtainable.

Qualifications

• Six months experience working in Slot Operations or as a Slot Technician, or other related electrical or IT experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and overhaul all electrical and mechanical player terminals to ensure optimal operation.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing of slot machines.
• Be proactive in identifying problems and follow up with Slot Tech Supervisor for solutions.
• Assist in moving and installing gaming devices as needed.
• Handle breakdown, relocation, and re-set-up of machines and stands as required.
• Maintain accurate and thorough departmental records and reports.
• Learn and follow policies and procedures per Internal Controls.
• Perform other tasks assigned.

Slot Technicians are responsible for the overall repair and maintenance of all electrical and mechanical player terminals.

• Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision and Values of Casino.
• Responsible for the repair, overhaul, and proper preventative maintenance of all player terminals to ensure optimal operation.
• The slot tech must be proactive and identify problems & solutions follow up with the Slot Tech Supervisor.
• Will assist in moving and installing gaming devices as needed.
• Responsible for the breakdown, relocation, and re set-up of machines and stands to be relocated.
• Held accountable, to a high degree, for maintaining accurate and thorough departmental records and reports.
• Must learn and ensure policies and procedures are being followed per the departments’ Internal Controls.
• Perform other tasks assigned.
• Six (6) months experience working in Slot Operations or as a Slot Technician, or other related electrical or IT experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Strong guest service and problem-solving skills.
• Able to Multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise, smoke, and temperature levels

Gaming License Required? Ability to secure and maintain STATE OR TRIBAL Gaming License.
