Maintain the daily technical operation and activity of all slot machines and associated staff on the casino floor.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promotes superior guest service.
- Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.
- Responsible for payouts of fifteen thousand and higher.
- Help audit and analyze daily performance and revenue reports, machine exception reports and progressive reports.
- Help identify mechanical and accounting related machine problems.
- Maintain the slot data system.
- Maintain all necessary paperwork and documentation regarding all slot machine activity, maintenance, repairs, key control requirements and inventory control.
- Assist in supervising, training, coaching, scheduling, and evaluating all positions within the department.
- Help safeguard against theft and ensure the security and integrity of all casino property.
- Keep abreast of all special event functions, entertainment, and restaurant schedules within the department.
- Keep other departments informed of developments which affect their area.
- Assist enforcement of department, company and state gaming regulations, policies, and procedures. Document and report the daily activities of the shift.
- Assist the Slot Operations Manager as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED, Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED), or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
- One (1) year of Gaming Manager experience in a high volume, complex casino environment, or one (1) year Lead Slot Attendant experience.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
- Intermediate MS Office skills with an emphasis on Excel.
- Previous money handling experience.
- Ability to use an “in ear” communication device.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to bend, pull, lift and reach.
- Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.
- Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
- Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of SDS, CMP and LGS
