Job summary
Boyd Gaming is seeking a Slot Technician I or II to maintain and service gaming machines and related equipment at our Kansas City venue. You will perform overhaul maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and interpret repair manuals to keep machines operating at peak performance, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Beneficial candidates will have knowledge of slot machine mechanics, electronics, and the use of hand and power tools, with the ability to lift up to 80 pounds and work from schematics.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of gaming machine mechanics, electronics, and electrical systems.
- Ability to interpret repair manuals and schematics.
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and operate hand/power tools safely.
Responsibilities
- Execute overhaul maintenance on gaming machines and hardware components.
- Diagnose and repair machine malfunctions with precision.
- Identify and isolate electronic faults at the board level and escalate as needed.
- Interpret technical information from manuals, schematics, and equipment docs.
- Maintain clear two-way radio communication with team members and supervisors.
- Stay current on emerging slot products and industry advancements.
