Job summary

Playtika Ltd is seeking a Slot / Experience Designer in Las Vegas to lead pre-production for new slot experiences. You will shape themes, narratives, and feature design, working with math, art, and product teams to craft a clear, production-ready Vision in the Unified Design Document.

You will define triggers, edge cases and player flows, while ensuring alignment with business goals and player expectations.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of slot mechanics, bonus features, game flows, symbols and feature presentation.
• Knowledge of slot mathematics: RTP, volatility, hit and feature frequency.
• Ability to turn complex ideas into clear, implementation-ready design direction.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills for pre-production.
• Excellent communication across creative, mathematical, product and technical teams.
• Experience with pre-production workflows and design reviews.
• Proficiency in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned slot concepts through the pre-production design process from initial concept through Ready-for-Production handoff.
• Develop original themes, narratives, gameplay mechanics, bonus features, symbol concepts and player-experience flows for new slot titles.
• Apply Feature Design discipline to individual gameplay and bonus features, defining triggers, entry conditions, states, transitions, player interactions, progression, awards, retriggers, exits, edge cases and return to base game.
• Work with Slot Mathematicians to define the mathematical experience including pacing, volatility, reward behavior, feature frequency and overall player feel.
• Provide clear math guidance and design targets during pre-production without owning detailed production math implementation.
• Collaborate with Game Art Management to establish art direction, symbol hierarchy and visual communication for the experience.
• Create and maintain design documentation within the Unified Design Document (UDD).
• Translate concepts into implementation-ready flows, feature descriptions and handoff requirements.
• Review concept art, animatics and prototypes communicating gameplay and bonus behavior.
• Participate in design reviews and play sessions to evaluate comprehension and excitement.
• Incorporate input from Product, Art, Math, R&D and Analytics in the pre-production stage-gate process.
• Maintain knowledge of social casino and slot trends.
