Job summary

IGT in Reno, Nevada seeks a Game Designer to craft Class 3 land-based slot games across multiple product lines. You will shape the game mechanics, themes, math, and player experience while guiding cross‑functional teams.

You’ll own the development cycle, maintain design documentation, and collaborate with product managers, creatives, and engineers. A 5+ year track record in slot design and a strong portfolio are required; relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in slot game design
• Brings a relevant portfolio that includes multiple projects in the gaming industry
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams and collaborating with product managers, strategists, creatives, account managers and content developers
• Real‑money gaming industry experience is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop the technical and creative design vision for slot machines, defining game mechanics, game flow, game theme, and mathematical aspects
• Lead and motivate cross‑functional teams to ensure understanding and proper implementation of the game design
• Manage the product development cycle and maintain associated documentation
• Coordinate inputs from a variety of creative and knowledgeable individuals, prioritizing feedback and communicating outcomes
• Stay knowledgeable in the gaming industry and use this knowledge to improve projects across the studio
