Position Overview
The Slot Attendant is responsible for providing outstanding customer service. Slot Attendants will accomplish this by timely responding to customer needs, including but not limited to, hand pay jackpots, minor machine repairs, and replenishing ticket voucher paper. All duties are to be performed according to the policies and procedures of Mount Airy Casino Resort and the regulations of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

Essential Job Functions

1. Maintain a constant presence on the slot floor, looking for and responding to guests requiring assistance with slot machines.
2. Provide courteous and helpful information to guests and address complaints professionally and positively. Show genuine concern, actively listen, and take ownership of concerns.
3. Complete manual jackpot payouts.
4. Refill ticket printers with voucher paper.
5. Make minor repairs on slot machines.
6. Maintain security of keys, radio, and pagers issued.
7. Provide exceptional customer service and communicate pleasantly and professionally at all times. Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors and staff.
8. Act as signatory on jackpots as detailed in internal controls.
9. Create player cards.
10. Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to policies.
11. Attend all necessary training meetings.
12. Assist in other projects as directed.

Essential Requirements

1. Must be at least 18 years old upon employment.
2. High School Diploma required.
3. Previous customer service experience preferred.
4. Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
5. Must be approved for and maintain a valid license as required by the PA Gaming Control Board.
6. Ability to interact well with customers and employees, demonstrating leadership, fairness, and sensibility.

ADA Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino.
• Maintain stamina and mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and effectively deal with various individuals.
• Manual dexterity to operate equipment and perform light lifting.

Other Skills/Abilities

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; respond to visual and auditory cues.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional travel.
• Employment contingent upon background check and drug screening.
