Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino Lake Tahoe is seeking a Slot Attendant to help enroll guests into the Players Club and perform slot duties, including identifying jackpots, generating documents, and answering guest questions.

The role requires professional guest service, ability to count currency, and the flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays; a Nevada gaming license is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Proven customer service skills to interact professionally with guests.
• Ability to count paper and coin currency quickly and accurately.
• Available to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
• This position requires a Nevada Gaming Control Board gaming license.

Responsabilités

• Assists Slot Shift Supervisors with duties.
• Observes slot machine play.
• Verifies and pays customers for jackpots and signs forms.
• Services machines when minor malfunctions occur.
• Verifies jackpots within set levels and signs forms.
• Monitors assigned slot area for situations requiring attention or action.
• Ensures compliance with Federal currency reporting regulations.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Minimum 21 years of age or above

Proven customer service skills to interact appropriately with guests in a considerate, professional, and positive manner by showing concern and listening actively.

• Ability to count paper and coin currency quickly and accurately.
• Available to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license
• PLEASE NOTE: THIS POSITION REQUIRES A GAMING LICENSE BY THE NEVADA GAMING CONTROL BOARD

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

Slot Attendant experience in casino preferred.

Mathematical Skills

Basic math skills.

Language Skills

Must be able to speak and understand English.

Physical Demands

• Ability to move throughout the hotel (standing, walking, kneeling, and bending) for extended periods of time.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
• Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear.
• Ability to regularly move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 50 pounds.
• Constantly walking up to distances of 500 ft. during shift.
• Frequently stooping, reaching.

Work Environment

• Work performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment. There are occasional hot and cold temperature changes.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to a smoke-filled environment.
• Work with others in close spaces.
• Moderate to high noise levels.
• Walk/stand on tile/mats/carpet/cement.

Pay Range

USD $14.00 - USD $14.00 /Hr.
