Responsibilities

• Set up and operate slitting machines to produce laminated films to specification.
• Perform daily machine cleaning, organization, and maintenance, including preventive maintenance tasks.
• Read job specifications and run data to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Ensure proper packaging materials are used and monitor quality throughout production.
• Inspect workpieces for defects, correct machine or material issues, and record measurements for accuracy.
• Perform required quality testing and complete quality control data entry.
• Assist co‑operators with stacking, marking, packing, and transporting finished goods.
• Maintain production reports and manage trash, trim, and removal of off‑spec material.
• Report unsafe conditions and collaborate with supervisors for safety compliance.
• Participate in changeovers and auxiliary equipment operation as needed.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of production experience, preferred in manufacturing or digital printing (not mandatory).
• Basic mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools.
• Simple mathematical ability for reporting.
• Computer literacy.
• Ability to read measurements accurately.
