Job summary

VORTEQ Coil Finishers, LLC is seeking a Slitting Line Operator to run the slitter equipment and ensure label accuracy for finished material. Training is 7am-3pm, after which shifts run 3pm-11pm or 11pm-7am with weekend premium pay as applicable.

The role requires basic math, reading/writing proficiency, and the ability to lift at least 50 lbs. A comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Basic math and ability to use a calculator.
• Reading and writing proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate slitter equipment to meet production and quality standards.
• Set up, adjust and operate slitter machinery with minimal waste.
• Transport coils to and from the slitter using material handling equipment.
• Meet changeovers and production schedules.
• Complete production reports accurately and timely.
• Coordinate with team to determine production priorities.
