Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years relevant supervisory experience, MPG experience preferred.
  • Effective use of Microsoft Office suite required.
  • Experience in an ISO 9001 environment highly desirable.

Location: Durham, NC – CEVA Plant

Shift: 12hr Day Shift (2-2-3-3)

What You'll Do:

  • Team Leadership: Provide hands-on supervision and mentorship for a 12-hour Day in our 24/7 Slitter operation
  • Performance Management: Execute department initiatives to achieve quality, delivery, and efficiency goals
  • Problem Resolution: Analyze and solve operational issues to improve departmental efficiency
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with shipping, quality, inventory, and other teams to optimize production
  • Staff Development: Drive team success through hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance reviews
  • Administrative Oversight: Manage schedules, time sheets, attendance, and departmental reporting
  • Safety Champion: Foster a safe working environment through strict compliance with procedures
  • Quality Control: Partner with QMS team to maintain SOPs and work instructions
  • Security Compliance: Ensure adherence to security protocols within assigned areas
  • Process Improvement: Implement and maintain continuous improvement initiatives

What You'll Bring:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years relevant supervisory experience, MPG experience preferred
  • Leadership Skills: Strong abilities in team management, communication, and problem-solving
  • ISO Knowledge: Experience in ISO 9001 environment highly desirable
  • Technical Proficiency: Effective use of Microsoft Office suite and MIS systems
  • Continuous Improvement: Six Sigma, 5S, or Kaizen experience preferred
  • Organization: Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to analyze and resolve operational challenges
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to handle varying shift demands and requirements
