MCC in North Carolina is seeking a Slitter Operator to join our production team. Experience is not required but beneficial as you operate a Slitter/Rewinder, load rolls, and monitor quality. You will record data in our operation systems and follow safety and quality procedures.

Formación

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic for label counts and conversions.
• Ability to use units of American money, weight, volume, and distance.
• Proficiency with Windows-based applications.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Vision: close, distance, color, and focus adjustment.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a Slitter/Rewinder, feeding rolls and setting unwind position per specification.
• Continuously inspect print and seam quality.
• Remove defective material and splice the roll web as specified.
• Use ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing when needed.
• Handle rolls and palletize to avoid damage.
• Record data on paperwork and in Radius/Globetek.
• Uphold MCC values: Accountability, Drive for Results, Customer Focus, Innovation, Team Player.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
