Slitter Operator - NIGHT SHIFT

Slitter Operator - NIGHT SHIFT

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will operate all Slitter equipment safely. Excellent attendance is crucial. You will collaborate with various teams and have a keen eye for defect detection in printed film. Pride in your hands-on skills, analytical abilities, organization, and attention to detail is essential.

Responsibilities include:

  • Set up and operate Core Cutting & Multiple Roll Wrapping Machines
  • Cut cores to size, ensuring proper supplies for slitting jobs
  • Weigh and label plastic rolls during wrapping
  • Palletize rolls and deliver to the finished goods area
  • Follow GMPs, PRPs, and SOPs
  • Provide backup for break relief
  • Conduct final inspection of rolls per procedures
  • Ensure allergen control during slitting of Combo jobs
  • Complete administrative paperwork
  • Report unsafe acts or conditions immediately
  • Maintain quality and safety standards
  • Ensure consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Report food safety violations
  • Follow all safety rules
  • Perform other duties as assigned
